EPMC proudly introduces; the LiftLog.
We all know that the development in the lifting world is progressive and that new solutions and products are being developed to collect remote data. Over the past 2 years, the Engineering, Automation & Drives department has become familiar with the products of the Australian company Sole Digital. After installing various units and extensive testing on various overhead cranes, we are convinced of the added value of these products for every crane supplier, owner or manager!
What does the LiftLog do.
The LiftLog is basically a simple overload protection unit which logs the movements and load of the crane via 6 inputs. This monitors the SWP (Safe Working Period). Due to the compact dimensions (23 mm wide and DIN rail mounted), it can almost always be integrated into the existing control system. The LiftLog has the option to access it wirelessly, simply from the shop floor. Via bluetooth you can configure the LiftLog with your laptop, read out and calibrate the overload. And all this without a sky worker ! This benefits the safety of the installer or technician. No more pressing buttons during (test) loading of the crane.
The liftLog is suitable for reading in a wide range of load cells;
- mV/V; Strain Gauge, Wheatstone Bridge
- 0-10V
- 4-20mA
- D-Cell; Digital measuring cell (interference free load measurement)
- ABUS Q link output
- ABUS Q link frequency output.
One can choose to replace the overload protection or choose to place the LiftLog next to the existing overload protection to log only the SWP.
If the customer also uses the Link-4 box (this is a modem as an extension), you can log up to 99 LiftLogs (read: cranes) within 100 meters of the box via the worldwide web. The customer can view and download all logged data via the online customized page. You can see the number of times that the crane has been in overload, number of starts, operating hours, etc. The LiftLog also counts down the SWP time, confirm the operating class (FEM or ISO) if correctly set. Online, the data portal can even calculate backwards from the delivery date of the crane.
In addition to the LiftLog, various solutions are available that can be accessed, configured and viewed wirelessly.
- Side pull detection;
- Contact exchange between “master” and “slave” cranes when they work in tandem;
- Overload protection with various zones;
- Bluetooth displays for weight indication;
- Steel wire rope load cells;
- AccessPack (personal key to provide access to work with the crane with a keycard)
Beautiful solutions for the simple monitoring and protection of various parts of all types of cranes.
